This training is designed for licensed mental health professionals seeking to enhance their ability to support clients experiencing life transitions, loss and grief. Grief is not limited to the loss of a loved one. It can emerge through the end of
relationships, the loss of employment, shifts in identity, and other major life transitions.

Participants will explore therapeutic strategies tailored to different types of loss to include transitions with jobs, the end of significant relationships,
anticipatory grief, disenfranchised grief, loss of loved one and traumatic loss.
Special attention will be given to experiences from the loss of relationships, including romantic breakups, estrangement,
and friendship loss.

The course will examine the emotional and psychological impact of relational grief and provideclinicians with tools to help clients rebuild their sense of identity, process unresolved emotions, and foster resilience.
