Missed Appointment Policy

Our objective is to deliver excellent healthcare promptly to all our clients.  Missed appointments, late arrivals, and cancellations not only disrupt our providers' schedules but also inconvenience our other clients. Please familiarize yourself with our policy regarding missed appointments.


Missed Appointment Policy

Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other patients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.

Appointment Cancellation

Each client is reserved for a specific time to receive services. No intentional double booking is ever done. If this happens, we will work to resolve the issues as soon as possible. Because your session time has been reserved specifically for you, we expect you to provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule the session. Sessions without 48 hours’ notice will be charged a $115 no show/late cancellation fee. A credit card on file is required to reserve your first appointment. It is our policy to charge a $75 no show fee if the first session is missed. 

How to Cancel Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us at 205-552-2370 or send an email to between the hours of 8:00A-5:00PM (Monday-Friday).  If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Late Cancellations/No-Shows

If you miss a session (no call/no show) without giving 48 hours’ notice it will be assumed that you no longer wish to receive any services and may be contacted to verify after the first occurrence. Your regular standing appointment may be canceled at that time.

Your Counselor Canceling The Appointment

Occasionally the counselor may request a change of appointment times/dates due to schedule changes or unforeseen events. We will give you as much notice as possible for your convenience.
