Job Duties &
Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical counseling services to clients of BLISS Counseling and Consulting as scheduled, in accordance with company policies and ethical guidelines.

  • Provide regular attendance at work.

  • Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics.

  • Provide crisis stabilization to clients as needed.

  • Communicate with client’s treatment team as needed (i.e psychiatrist, school, physician, etc).

  • Submit, timely complete documentation on the EHR, for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required by BLISS Counseling and Consulting or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient.

  • Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and trainings as directed by BLISS Counseling and Consulting.

  • Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner with the intention to maintain and increase rapport with the clients.

  • Provide a professional demeanor that maintains the goodwill and reputation of the provider, BLISS Counseling & Consulting and it’s affiliates.

  • Maintain respect, support, and collaboration with clients and peers.

  • Communicate availability, conflicts, and schedule changes with administration.

  • Keep updated license(s) and liability insurance up to date.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Education: Master’s Degree in counseling or social work.

  • License/Certification: An active, unrestricted license (LICSW; LPC; LMFT) in the State of Alabama. A copy must be provided.

  • Schedule: Availability to conduct at least 10 sessions per week.  Such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by BLISS Counseling and Consulting.

  • Communication: Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical care experience. Prior experience in a private practice setting is preferred but not required. At least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, couples, divorce, blended families, EMDR, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.)preferred not required.

  • Documents: Insurance paneling preferred not required.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Duties &
Responsibilities

  • Perform billing.

  • Verify insurance.

  • Complete data entry.

  • Maintain CAQH profiles.

  • Manage social media accounts.

  • Create and maintain filing systems.

  • Manager and respond to emails.

  • Track certifications, licenses, and provider reminders.

  • Retrieve and enter patient documents into the EHR.

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.

  • Handle onboarding paperwork for new employees.

  • Follow up with clients, potential clients, employees, and contractors as needed.

  • Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence.

  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Some College Preferred.

  • Experience: Medical billing and coding.

    • Experience managing calendars, verifying insurance, using electronic health records, marketing, drafting correspondences, coordinating meetings, and managing various administrative tasks.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with other software programs, such as database management systems and project management tools.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail, are crucial.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for administrative assistants. 

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to think critically, adapt quickly, and solve problems efficiently is highly valued.

  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job.

  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Flexible and open to taking on new tasks or adjusting their workflow as needed.
